At the Remote Work Academy we collect only the data needed to teach and support you. We do not sell your information. You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time, including your file, from your account.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Recruitment Gal (recruitmentgal.com). For any privacy matter, contact us at hello@recruitmentgal.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, preferred language, sign-in method (Google or email).
  • Your file and profile: professional information you share with the coaches (current and target role, skills, achievements, country, salary goals, and notes from your conversations).
  • Documents you upload: your resume and other files saved in your locker.
  • Conversations: the messages you exchange with the AI Advisors.
  • Usage and credits: floors visited, materials opened, credits spent, progress.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your card numbers.
  • Technical data: device, browser, and cookies needed to operate the service.

    • 3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Giving you access to the Academy and the coaches: performance of a contract.
  • Remembering your progress and personalizing support (your file): performance of a contract.
  • Processing your membership and payments: performance of a contract.
  • Sending optional communications: consent.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement: legitimate interest.

    • 4. Artificial intelligence and your conversations

    The AI Advisors are powered by Anthropic (Claude). When you chat with a coach, your message and the relevant context from your file are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply. Anthropic processes this data in the United States and does not use it to train its models under its business service. Your file is never shown publicly and is used only to improve the help you receive inside the Academy.

    5. Who we share data with

  • Base44: application hosting and database.
  • Anthropic (Claude): AI Advisor responses.
  • Stripe and PayPal: payment processing.
  • ElevenLabs and HeyGen: coach voice and video (when you use those features).
  • Google: sign-in.

    • We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

    6. International transfers

    Some providers are in the United States. When your data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognized by the GDPR.

    7. How long we keep your data

    We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or tax obligations.

    8. Your rights

    Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase (including your file via the Delete my file option in your account), port your data, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.     9. Cookies

    We use strictly necessary cookies so the Academy works (sign-in, security). Any optional cookie is enabled only with your consent. See our Cookie Policy.

    10. Minors

    The Academy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

    11. Security and changes

    We apply reasonable measures to protect your data. We may update this policy; we will notify you of material changes, and the last updated date reflects the current version.
